Gear up for summer with free eTraining by Europe’s leading ATV brands

Brussels, 20th of August 2024 – Europe’s leading All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) manufacturers have come together to develop a revamped, free and interactive online training tool providing essential safety tips for new and seasoned riders.

Throughout the summer holiday, the use of ATVs has been rising as many Europeans set off on their outdoor adventures.

ATVEA members—including Arctic Cat, BRP, CFMOTO, Honda, Kawasaki, KYMCO, Polaris, and Yamaha—are committed to promoting rider education and safety. Revamped in October last year, the ATVEA eTraining showcases these manufacturers’ dedication to enhancing rider safety for all. Representing a large share of the ATV market in Europe, ATVEA members are working together to ensure that riders are well-informed and prepared for safe ATV usage.

As the popularity of ATVs continues to grow, especially during the summer holidays, our commitment to rider safety becomes even more important,” said Ton van Geenhuizen, chair of ATVEA’s Education and Communication Committee. “We have worked together to provide an industry-approved platform that gives riders the knowledge and skills they need to enjoy their ATV experiences safely. We believe that education is the key to reducing accidents and promoting responsible riding.”

This online course covers the nine golden rules for riding an ATV, explaining the risks involved, how to prepare and practical tips for riding. It includes instructional videos, quizzes and interactive elements to create an engaging learning experience that reinforces crucial safety guidelines. Designed to be completed in less than 30 minutes, it is accessible on both PCs and mobile devices.

With the ATV market growing annually, the training is offered in four languages—English, German, French, and Swedish—to reach as many riders as possible.

After successfully completing the course, each participant receives a downloadable certificate confirming they have taken the training and successfully understood the key points.
